Louis Vuitton FW2011 Bags - Damier Leather

Here we have a selection of the new bags for the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2011 runway show. These are a new addition to the Travel line, sure to become classics. Marc Jacobs took the classic timeless Damier pattern and has engraved it on leather for a more professional and luxurious look in the new collection. The new portrayal of the Damier pattern also brings a more structural and almost architectural feel to the products. Although this new style is more of a subtle innovation to the already popular Damier line, it gives off an editted and refined feel. A splash of red colour in the latter bags adds a bit of flavour to the palette to give a bold personality to the collection. I admire the clean monotone foundation with colour highlights brought out in this collection. The red, white and black really provide a tasteful balance without one colour overpowering another.
These colours can easily be applied to the colour scheme of an interior design. I think the colours really show originality and would be perfect for a gallery, modern museum, or even a lounge.
